The spectrometer is designed to study the Overhauser DNP effect in natural hydrocarbons for potential using DNP techniques to enhance the 1H NMR signal in crude oil and petroleum products. The unit was tested on a sample of the ethylene glycol chromium complex at room temperature. A DNP enhancement of ε = −50 for 1H NMR signal from solvent protons by pumping 52Cr5+ electronic transitions with the optimized pumping parameters was achieved.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>magnetic resonance</kwd><kwd>Overhauser effect</kwd><kwd>dynamic polarization of nuclei</kwd><kwd>NMR</kwd><kwd>DNP</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Coates G., Xiao L., Prammer M., NMR Logging: Principles and Applications (Houston Halliburton Energy Services, 1999).</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Coates G., Xiao L., Prammer M., NMR Logging: Principles and Applications (Houston Halliburton Energy Services, 1999).</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit2"><label>2</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Pradhan A., Ovalles C., Moir M., ACS Symposium Series; OUP: Washington, DC 26, 73 (2018).</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Pradhan A., Ovalles C., Moir M., ACS Symposium Series; OUP: Washington, DC 26, 73 (2018).</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit3"><label>3</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Hausser K., Stehlik D., Dynamic Nuclear Polarization in Liquids (Advances in Magnetic and Optical Resonance ed. by J.
