The old-stuff superconducting magnet (9 T) and modified current insert allows to vary first order cold shim gradient fields and the B0 field in the range of 0-8.5 T. The helium cryostat inserted in a wide bore of the magnet and the sample temperature control system allow to perform nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments in the temperature range of 1.65-300 K. The software created in Labview development environment synchronizes the RF excitation and acquisition systems and controls the parameters of pulse sequences and data acquisition in the 5-500 MHz range of frequencies. The maximum achieved resolution in 1H NMR spectra using first order cold shims is ca. 0.5 ppm in a spherical water sample of 5-mm diameter.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>NMR spectrometer</kwd><kwd>low temperature</kwd><kwd>varying magnetic field</kwd><kwd>digital detection</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="en">This work was supported by the Russian Science Foundation (project no. 17-72-10198).</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Kuzmin V., Safiullin K., Dolgorukov G., Stanislavovas A., Alakshin E., Safin T., Yavkin B., Orlinskii S., Kiiamov A., Presnyakov M., Klochkov A., Tagirov M.
