These measurements were used to estimate the influence of the size of DyF3 particles on their magnetic properties. Dipolar ferromagnetic transition was observed in susceptibility measurements for DyF3 microparticles at TC  = 2.54 K, whereas DyF3 nanosized particles remain paramagnetic down to the lowest achieved temperature of 1.8 K.
